VBGS uses google G suite (now Google Workspace) for our email addresses, contact lists, calendar, and cloud storage. This allows us to have position based email addresses, shared access to files, and more.

This is a google account, it can be a
personal account (firstname.lastname@example.org)
multiuser account (email@example.com)
Log in to access:
shared contacts (grouped contacts for entire membership are only on the firstname.lastname@example.org account)
The contacts list is shared through the shared account email@example.com. Everyone has access to these contacts, found under "Delegated Contacts" - if you don’t, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
VBGS has a Zoom account that allows up to 100 people in a meeting at once.
Any committee or group is permitted to use the account for their meetings. Priority is given to regular meetings (the general monthly meeting, computer user group, writers group, and how-to class). If another time cannot wait, they should use Google meet.
We've had a few training sessions over Zoom, you can request the links to these recordings email@example.com. Eventually the plan is to make smaller clips from these or make new, stand-alone trainings for each item.
